Today l am gonna review PLUM BRIGHTEN - UP FACE SCRUB.

Product description :- Plum brighten up face scrub is from the Chamomile and white tea range. It says 

" Bright delight!

Reveal the brighter side of you & say bye-bye to sun tan - each time you scrub away dead cells, dirt & dullness. Gentle cellulose beads & effective walnut shell powder in this facial scrub make the perfect scrubbing combo, while the antioxidant-rich botanical extracts in the base keep the goodness going beneath the surface.

Chamomile and aloe soothe stressed skin. Use every alternate day (not more than thrice a week) to brighten up, get ready and face the world (and the sun) again! "

Packaging :- It looks very cute and is travel friendly. The tube is in Matt white colour with a glossy white cap. All the information it written on their website. The world PLUM is written in orange colour as it is from their Chamomile and white tea range. Overall the packaging is convenient and handy.

( Note: l am having the trial size Face scrub . You even get 75 ml wich is again in tube form with a flip - flop packaging )

Sunflower oil :

" A perfectly natural, edible ingredient that was picked to make the base rock!! " - PLUM

Sunflower oil is a non-comedogenic carrier oil which is highly absorbent, and won't clog pores. It's non-irritating for most people, and can be used on all types of skin, including dry, normal, oily, and acne-prone.

Cellulose beads :

"We tried, and tried to make sure that the scrub works, but without overdoing it. In came cellulose beads - we love them for being gentle, effective and good to the environment! " - PLUM

Cellulose is also known to possess strong humectant properties, which helps to increase the amount of moisture in the skin.

This one of PLUM'S little lab secret but we will let you in on it. Using rough (plastic or natural) exfoliants can actually cause damage to skin and aggravate acne conditions. Plum has chosen soft, natural cellulose to give you a scrub that works, without damaging your skin. And, it’s friendlier to our water bodies where all our products finally end up.

Chamomile extract :

Chamomile has anti-inflammatory properties and helps to soothe the skin. Chamomile is a member of the daisy family, along with Calendula and Echinacea, and is commonly used for its skin-calming properties, leaving dry, rough, or sore skin reassuringly soft and soothed.

Texture :- This scrub is thick in consistency . It makes our skin soft and smooth . 

Fragrance :- It has a very mild and very nice fragrance. I am not able to say exactly what is the fragrance but trust me it's nice.

Shelf life :- 2 years  (24 months) from the date of manufacturing.

My experience with this product :-

Do I like this Face Scrub? If yes why?

Yes l like this Face scrub. I feel it is a perfect scrub for normal to dry skin . It makes our face smooth in just seconds .A little product is enough as it spreads very nicely . I usually scrub for 2 minutes to get good results .The particles of this Scrub are not to harsh too.. I love the fragrance of this scrub as it feels refreshing. Overall l really love this Face Scrub.

How to apply :- Start with freshly washed, moist face. Massage scrub on forehead, cheeks, nose and chin, in upward-outward circular motion for as long as comfortable. Preferably 2 minutes. Wash off, pat dry. Seal in the goodness with moisturizer or SPF. Use scrub not more than thrice a week. 

( Bonus tip: once a week, follow scrub with a mud mask for a rejuvenating detox session at home! )

Would l repurchase Plum brighten - up face scrub :- Sure , because my face becomes smoth after using this product.
